Old hipster wheel ! They stopped making them in 2003 - Front only and with a weight limit - so no fat asses !

spacehippo 05-15-08 11:34 PM

I'm too drunk for that to be happening right now.

EDIT- now being less drunk, I noticed the other trispoke mounting areas where it was PS'ed.

eXCeSS 05-16-08 08:42 AM

when it stops, the wheel wants to put the spoke at 12 oclock...

that didnt trigger anyone elses bull**** detector?

raster 05-16-08 08:53 AM

Did anyone watch the trackstand video next to the monospoke one? It's charming.

I imagine if the wheel is real then the rim is counter-weighted.

Yoshi 05-16-08 09:41 AM

The rim has a braking surface and the bike has a brake on it. There is no way that a wheel built like that could withstand braking forces.

Shenanigans.

ebawho 05-16-08 09:51 AM

if you watch the very last second or two of it, as the guy moves towards the bike, you can see the rim like go in and then back out, editing mistake or something...

fake

you would think that they would at least build the wheel with the spoke across from the valve. total jackassness.

kringle 05-16-08 01:49 PM
