Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Yeah, none of those users seem active.

I'm in Union County, but I don't venture into Essex or Hudson county at all. Too much of a hassle to get through Newark.

I'm still here, ride over the GW occasionally. I mostly ride up to Mitsuwa to get enjoy some curry or other Japanese fare. After all these years, I still don't much like riding in Jersey, the bike path in Manhattan is so much better.

Is that the greenway path along the Hudson? I ride over the bridge but can never find it.
