one other thing to think about...if you read the articles at oldskooltrack.com, you can read what guys who have been riding track bikes for 25 years have to say about the current boom and they all seem to be stoked...if those guys are stoked, there's no reason someone like me who's only been riding SS for about 4 years and fixed for less than a year can say, "Hey! I was into this when it was underground and now it's a fad! I'm outta here!!" bikes is bikes is bikes

Yup, I agree. I have one of the langsters, I like it. I like steel a hell of alot more, but I do like this bike. I am glad I swithed my wheels to some old fast ones that I love. I think if it can get more people out of their cars the better.
