Choosing right size Kilo TT for me?
 

I am 5' 6" ~ 5' 7" and planning to buy Kilo TT.
Actually, I am wondering what is the best size for me.
Can you guys help me choosing a right size please??

I know it is not good to choose a bike size only with my height, but for now the height is the only thing I got. So please give me your ideas so I can get some ideas.

my friend has a 50cm and he's about 5'3"-5'4"

I'm your exact height 5'6-5'7 and I owned a 50cm Kilo that fit like a glove. Just the right amount of seatpost showing, and a 100mm stem.

I'm 5'10" and went with a 53cm. 3" is quite a bit smaller than me.

The Kilo TT top tubes run long.
Also I think you are supposed to pick a size down for track bikes?

The 50cm TT has a 535mm top tube, meaning it would actually be slighly on the large side for you if you are closer to 5'6, and about right for 5'7

I would definitely go for the 50cm. I'm 5' 6" it's almost too big for me. When I stand over it, I barely touch the top tube. I don't really mind though because how often am I standing still over the bike? The rest of it fits fine. I don't know what your inseam is (I don't know mine for that matter...), but I think a 50cm would do you right.

my 53cm kilo is perfect and i'm 5'7''.

if you are 5'6" and have short legs, get the 50cm and put a long stem on it. if you have normal legs and are 5'6" 1/2 or more, or have long legs, get the 53.

I'm 5'8" and I went with the 50cm, but I wish I would have gotten the 53cm. It's just a little small, so it's not a big deal. Plus, it's easier to make a small bike bigger (with seatpost and stem) than to make a big bike smaller.

I am 5'8 and I ride a 50cm . It is a bit on the small side but I think the 53cm would be a tad on the big side.

Yep. all depends on standover height.

i'm 5'4" and rode 50cm. well it was the smallest size they've got. geometry worked great for me but there wasn't much of clearance btwn TT and MY BB.

Remember Kilo TT is quite tight track geometry with high bottom bracket shell. 50cm might work better for you depending on your proportion.

If he's of average proportion the 53 would be too big.

I'm 5'7" on a good day w/ short legs (30" inseam pants are too long!) I use syntace stratos bull horns w/ a 100mm stem and the bike feels OK but on the small side, sometimes I feel a little cramped, I'm not sure that the 53 would fit any better because the top tube might be too long.

I rode a 57cm kilo for about 5 minutes last week and had some toe overlap, should I be concerned about that?

I'm 5'8, rode the 53 and the 50 and the 50 fit better. The measurements on the 50 were very close to all of my road bikes, which are all 52/53 and professionally fitted.

I'm 5'8 with 32" inseam. 53cm fits perfectly. I guess 50cm would fit fine too but I dont want my seatpost sticking out like 5ft.

Yeah, general rule-of-thumb is that if you're showing more than 4.75 feet of seatpost, your frame is too small.
