alien cranks bb

Just looking at the alien website and it states that you get a 42mm chainline with a 103mm bb. The bb that can be purchased with the crankset looks to be 107mm, and the review on fgg states that it is 107mm for a 42mm chainline.
anyone with experience with this that can clarify this for me. thanks

110.5 or 107 should work, the kazane are the same and it's a ***** to get right but a 110.5 gives you good chainline and pedal position. the 107 is what i run with my kazane and the chainline's good after a crap ton of working to get everything on right.

what would be the best bb for these? would any phil woods work, being that the spindle is adjustable to some degree?

You could certainly use a Phil if you've got the money.

i guess that i am just a little confused about what size to get, since they don't make a 107, and the 2 10.5 are campangolo spec., and i have no idea what that means.

ok... so for the phil wood, it would be the 108 short taper, right?
