opinions on sizing for a 61cm

i ride a 64cm frame just as a commuter fixie; still a bit big on me. im 6'1'' 165 lbs. and am about to go purchase a bianchi pista 61cm frame, just wondering will this size effect tricks or any freestyle freedom? should i search for a 58 or something? any opinions/info helps. thanks

Don't blindly buy a frame based on a single number. Seat tube length is measured in different ways and its only one aspect of frame size. I ride frames ranging from 57-62 that actually fit exactly the same. You should consider the geometry of the whole frame, especially top tube length. Buy the frame that fits.

If you want a tiny frame for tricks, get a BMX bike.

a 59 would probably be better.

hutch trickstar. better yet, just buy one of those 79 dollar Next bmx bikes from walmart. it will outlast the freestlye trend by about 3 weeks.
