Here Is A New Entry In The Ss/fg Market
Hi

Can you please tell me just roughly when you are gonna get more of kilo TT (especially 50cm)? please?
|
Nice!
Especially at that price. If only I was in the US |
Sweet, that's a next purchase.
|
Since this dawes isn't fixed, but has a flip/flop hub, i'm gonna ask it...
Which have you guys found to be the best brand/deal/combo/etc. for a fixed hub and lock ring? |
This is cool, but what about the Jury? Your sales team says its still classified.

should be in about 5 to 6 weeks from now Complete bike will not be until next year Frameset is super nice I have one and it is really fantastic [of course, it is same steel frame builder that makes bianchi and surly and many other] Features on the Jury frame make it really nice as does the fork framesets are without decals |
nice, i would have ordered that one instead of The Hour, but it isn't offered in a 64cm frame. Looks sharp though!
|
the threadless, bullhorns with bar end levers, and r500/formulas make this a better deal than the kilo i think.
the aluminum will be cool to see, as will the mta, cross uno and clockwork! any chance for a short description of the windsor and motobecane? when will we get to see specs? |
How much for the Jury frameset? Also, what's the story with those bikes you have listed on eBay, now? I thought you said no lugs, they were too expensive (though that frame is certainly expensive). It looks like the lugged one is the Soma Delancy without the graphics or the 853 steel. Or the ridiculous price.
|
ordered my 2009 Dawes SST on Tuesday! The bike will be here next tuesday 6/24/08. I have a Kilo TT as well and i'll be doing a write-up/comparison in this thread:
http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=431067 The Dawes SST appears to have the same frame geometry and same component spec as the SE Lager, for about $100 cheaper. score. |
I see this has eyelets you could use with fenders. Do you know what size tires will fit while using normal-ish fenders?

i hope the kiloTT pro has tight geo. i don't need any 75 degree headtubes or anything crazy, just as long as there's more tight clearances available. i think that's the real reason people ever went ga-ga for the kilo in the first place, it looks like a real sweet track bike. the reason people still keep buying them is because it rides well enough to back that up. i just dropped all the scratch i had into a scattante SS road build and got a pretty good deal, but i'm kicking myself now that i see that there will be a cyclocross SS available for less than i spent on the frameset and rear wheel of my scattante. might have to pick it up anyway once i move, because i want to get my CX on. |
your scat is dope and you've inspired me into thinking about building one too actually. I just got my stimulus check and i've been thinking about building a SS commuter.
|
thanks... but honestly if you have a large parts bin that's all that makes it worth it. i'm using mismatched crank arms and it's a pain in the butt... i should have just gotten a BD road bike.
|
Nice addition, can't wait to see the Kilo TT Pro.
|
Mike, do you have some photos of your Jury? It is the one that has track-ends with eyelets for racks/fenders, right?
Also, the Kilo TT Pro is the same frameset currently on offer but with a higher-end set of parts, right? Thanks! |
What is the clockwork and MTA?

Which have you guys found to be the best brand/deal/combo/etc. for a fixed hub and lock ring? sorry for my post without proofreading. I meant if i wanted this bike but also wanted a fixed cog* for the flip/flop. I'm just curious and seeking as to which brands people like that make good cogs and lock rings. |
cool, more stuff gonna be around when i get back from london in sept. :)
|
eai and dura ace are well liked. the eai deluxe is pretty well priced, too.
|
Oh, yea. What are the differences between Kilo TT and Kilo TT Pro?

All these models are due in by the end of the summer CLOCKWORK is just an HOUR with brakes [and of course will come in Orange] MTA is a very low priced SS/FG for those on a limited budget - under $300 delivered with brakes&FW CROSS UNO is like part Moto Messenger and part Fantom CX - SO a SS 4130 steel Cross bike with cantis and wide tires I like offering choices |
