online components
So anyone know a good place to look for/buy components online for diy fixed? I want to build an old frame that I have....
|
i like universal cycles, benscycles/milwakee bicycles, and jensonusa.
for obscure parts i will search around. bicycleparts.com came through with a properly sized goldfinger for me, case in point. |
Check out bmx mailorder websites. A lot of the components overlap from ss/fixed to bmx. Dan's Comp for example
|
mmm, not all kinds of components. for example, bmx tensioners don't fit around many track fork ends.
that said, danscomp guys are super helpful and awesome. |
businesscycles.com is another good place. thebikebiz.com has a bunch of stuff as well.
|
benscycles.com and webcyclery.com
|
thanks!

ebay and craigslist. You can even try craigslist in a city other than your own and see if the person would ship it for ya.
