Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

120 lookers, no takers?

C'mon, no one here believes in reciprocal altruism?
keep this thread alive, or better yet, DONATE for a chance to get one of these frames.
A motivated parent--I once thought I would lose my daughter to this illness...
Sentimental enough for ya?

Not trying to downplay your cause by any means but i think you might be trying to squeeze blood from a stone here as a lot of people who ride fixed gears/SS do so because of the economical aspect perhaps your efforts would be better focused towards the lycra clad crowd.
I do think you are doing a very noble thing however.

I can't imagine every person here is so strapped that they can't afford $5. With all of the overpriced crap people throw on their bikes, you would think there are a few dollars floating around. Any donation is better than nothing. Also, the lycra comment is just silly.
