deep v's only for fixies?

i just got a new ss bike and i really like deep v's. are they only a fixie thing?

Nope. Get a pair of Deep-Vs with a flip-flop hub and use the singlespeed side if you want.

Pretty weak trolling attempt

If the Bike is for commuting or touring I personally would keep to more conventional wheels with a softer ride, if you are racing it then thats diferrent.

deep Vs have been set to implode if the use of the single speed side of the flip flop hub is used

FarAwayBoy 06-29-08 09:38 PM

Singlespeed bikes can also have heavy, unattractive wheels?
No.

Just playing, I have a pair of deep-v's.
The silver ones of course.

The Velocity Spartacus 650 wheels are built with Deep-V rims...and they are made for recumbents!
