I just like to see people spend money(even on a budget frame) rather than hide all their pennies up their butt. I like riced out bikes. It takes me back. You keep doing you though.

Can someone take a picture of their Mark V Pro seat stay bridge?

My frame is supposed to be a MVP (Tony even "confirmed.") but it's drilled for a rear brake, idk.
MVP aren't drilled for a rear brake right?

According to their website you are correct.

From their website

"A "fixed only" take on our most affordable frame. Reynolds 631 steel tubing. Fixed only. 1 1/8" threadless fork. Front brake mount. No cable stops, no bottle mounts. 120mm rear drop-outs. Accepts up to 700x28cc tires. Bottom Bracket 68mm shell. Seatpost 27.2. Frame weight 3.9lb size 56cm. "

Why do you say that ? With the apparent demise of IRO, it is now a rare vintage. You should repost it in C&V.

I want one of these. Really badly for some reason. Basically, as TT said, because they're dying and I feel like I'll never be alb to get one again

It isn't useless... it is very tastefull. I think that if I ever come across an IRO for a good price I'll pick one up. There happens to be one of those group buy frames on my local CL... but the price isn't right.

What's with the reports of IRO's demise? Website is still up. Looked like they were taking some time off in the fall, but are they really toast? I hope not!

Feel free to hate me for bumping this from the dead, but the Jamie Roy I purchased back in '08 was stolen recently. I just had a second heartbreak discovering that IRO isn't really producing much these days... Tony was beyond helpful back then, especially considering I was a total neophyte, and his product lasted me for years.

RIP IRO.
