Couldn't you tape off the ends and go at them with a can of spray paint?

I tried to order wheelset last week with white everything. Got the rims and hubs, but the dealer (Bell's) said spokes are a problem. You can power-coat them, but it's a problem when building/truing the wheels. He said the solution is to get anodized one, which he hopes to have in some colors in the future.

It's often suggested to use the forum search function before posting.
I did and found the following for colored spokes (white, blue, yellow, pink, purple, green, etc.)
