Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I'm sorry, but that plastic pie plate disqualifies that bike.

Wow there are some snooty people that ride bikes on this thread =] I read this whole thread and looked at every bike and I honestly feel that every bike has a personality, took work, and keep their owner happy and not everyone has $1000.00 to spend on a bike.
I have seen a lot of "different" looking bikes and that is what started me on this whole trip and keeps me interested. It's like if there where no ugly bikes there would be no nice looking classy bikes. Kind of like people. lol.

I only have one thing to show you when you want "classy", and that's my EG Bates:

No, but I only have one to show you. I don't have anything else that would pass for "classy" here. Although some of you will like my (too small for me) Nigel Dean.

The Bates is chill. A nice bike is a nice bike, I will post some pictures of my bike when I'm done and I'm sure you'll be hating it. =]

Actually, I have another. Thinking about it, I'm swimming in classy bikes. This has black and white tyres now, instead of yellow

Of course this bike was photographed in front of a giant hedge.
Hilarious.

My opinion - keep ALL "bike" photos in the "photos" thread!
(unless it's a specific thread ---"classy" is just too general - "pista concept photos" is specific)

Dude. That thread is way too big to be manageable. Every thread should have pics of bikes.

this is a picture thread. if youre not here to post pictures of bikes that you think are "classy", whatever that word might mean to you, then close the window because this isnt the thread for you

Your letting these guys get into your head, just go with the thread and enjoy
