Well, I'm riding on the stock hubs and I haven't had any real problems yet. I didn't even use the stock cog though, I bought a Soma 18t and a Dura-Ace lockring. I rotafixed it on and it hasn't loosened after 5 months of riding.

Here's my current set up. It's still pretty much all stock. I would get a new wheelset but the roads in New Brunswick, NJ aren't so great, so i figure I'll ride the stock wheels till they finally meet a pothole they can't handle.

Does anyone know what white vinyl matches the white powercoat on the stock windsor really well?

I did have a little trouble with the stock cog/lockring. The lockring had a nasty tendency to back off even with repeated tightening. I replaced them with a rockwerks 18t cog and a Dura Ace lockring. After a little over 100 miles on the new parts they are still tight.
The rear hub also loosened up/began to wobble after the first 50 miles. When I pulled the cones off to inspect for damage I noticed there was very little grease in there, so a repack and retightening sorted all that out...no trouble since.
On a side note I installed a 16t freewheel for whatever reason and the chainline is more crooked than Rod Blagojevich. It's noisy and it feels like the chain will jump at any time, so I never use it.

Isn't that somewhat akin to going to McDonalds instead of Burger King?
