Does the Hour come with a 1/8 or 3/32 chain?

Lets get some more pics up. I'm thinking about buying one of these but I'm not sure yet. 2005 model for $250 not sure of parts and upgrades yet. Still have to check it out.

pretty much stock 'cept for the stem, rear cog, lockring and chain. New seat is up next and I hope these wheels break soon so I can justify buying new ones.

My wheelset just came. Scratched the rims & popped a tube because I was rushing.

THEY LOOK GREAT!! Bens shipped me 1 16t & 15t cog. (I paid for the 16t). Pics up tomorrow when my saddle comes in.

That's UPS's fault. BD will arrange for a pickup so you can send it back for replacement.

turns out my hour also came with a 15t cog. im going to jump to 17t simply bc of the skid patches and it'd be easier to pedal as well.

Now that I have ridden 16t I'm sure mu Hour came with a 15t (Ben's shipped me both a 15 & the 16t I ordered with the wheelset. Well, after hunting down the UPS guy twice today & a trip to my local post office & LBS here she is:

Formula sealed bearing hubs laced to Alex R450s
Selle San Marco Ponza saddle
Metallic Candy Apple green powdercoat
Michelin Dynamic Tires
Soma 456 Track drops
Soma Thick & Zesty tape

I took a track class back in April and stripped all the 'extras' off for the class - it was like getting a totally different bike!

Fenders are SKS Raceblades, FYI.

Should we start a Windsor Hour thread like the Mercier Kilo TT thread??? I think it'd be a great idea considering we're seeing more and more Hours pop up.

Thanks man. I just put a few miles on it & no pain...it's actually more comfy than the Velo saddle the Hour came with.

I suggested this a while ago, but I didn't want to start a thread without my bike being completed! If you want to start one, I'd gladly throw some pictures up in a few days... still in the market for a new saddle

Just don't get the Selle Italia Thoork, unless you want to modify the seattube or replace it all together. It flexes in the middle and hits the top of the seattube bracket, so you're practically sitting on the seattube (not very comfy). I guess it could be a weight issue but i only weigh 155lbs so i don't think thats the case. I just got a Selle Italia Turbomatic 2 and its sooo much better and cheaper too ;-)

Do you get any kinda pain from longer rides on that saddle? There is one similar to that at my lbs for $35, but I didn't want to get it 'cause I really was looking for something with a deeper cutout. My longer rides (~20-25 miles) have been a real pain in the ass () with the stock saddle.

How do you like those bars? I've been looking for bullhorns, specifically those (even though nashbar just raised the price to $27.99, grr) since I never really use the drops on my stock bars.. I find they flex way too much if I try to crank it

The jury is still out on that one but I can tell you that I had almost instant pain from my other saddle.

The bars are great. The cork tape is awesome too! I wrapped it close so it's thick for comfort. I got them for $20 on nashbar 2 weeks ago.

An alternative is to chop/flip your stock bars. I did it with mine.
(dont mind the temp mesh tape and missing bar end)

I think I know why they shipped them with 15t cogs. I have almost zero clearance on the rear brake stay with 28c tires & the 16t cog. I suspect that with the 15t there would be more space.

Wasn't those Kenda tires 28s?
