Jamis Sputnik dropout adjustment set screws - size and source?
My Jamis Sputnik has threaded holes for dropout adjustment set screws. I emailed Jamis to ask about them but they didn't reply. I visited my LBS (a Jamis dealer) and they couldn't get a ready answer from Jamis. I tried fitting the dropout screws from my Surly Cross-check but they are not the correct size.
Can anyone suggest what size screws fit the Jamis Sputnik dropouts? Can I order them online? Thanks!!

your sputnik was supposed to come equipped with the screws...at least mine did...as well, the photo of the sputnik in their catalog clearly shows the adjustment screws...chances are the person assembling your bike just didn't install them...which means they might actually be kicking around your LBS somewhere...good luck to you on that one...
you can always try the frame's taiwan manufacturer, Maxway...the dropout/forkend on the sputnik is their own proprietary design so, assuming you can get into contact with someone there with the time and the english skills necessary to communicate with you, they might at least be able to let you know what you need as far as thread pitch etc...

Mine was a cheap-o Craigslist special and, unfortunately, didn't come equipped with the screws. Good tip about the manufacturer (https://www.maxway.com.tw/cgi-bin/pro....pl?ProdID=116).

Yes, from the factory the sputnik should have the adjustment screws. Handy feature actually, for those that need nano-adjust on the chain tension, although i have found that even the stock components did not present with a huge variation in chain tension as your rotated it through 360.
Props, given the not so great quality of the drivetrain components.

Any Jamis dealer can get you the screws for a couple of bucks. I'm out in Phoenix and the shop I work at is closed today, but I'll try and see if there isn't a more immediate replacement.
