sweet bike man!

how do you like having the brake mounted there? i like the way it keeps the bars cleaner, but is it eaasy enough to get to?

Thanks. I really like the brake there, as you can actually hook it with your thumb if you are riding with the hands as if they on the hoods. It gives me two different hand positions that still give me access to it. The mount is hinged, so removal of lever and brake is about a 45 sec. job.

The tubies are really nice. I have a set that I use occasionally on my geared bike and they feel like you strapped a set of wings to the bike.

On this bike, the wheels came with the bike, and the tubies just needed put on.

They just seem to roll a bit smoother and lets face it, like alot of things there is an inmeasurable magic about sitting down and taking the time to glue up and mount them. Same sensation as building a set of your own wheels. Clinchers...ya just tend to throw em on.
