i bought a langster comp...
..frame.
for next to nothing i might add. i am wondering, if a 170 in the crank i want is not available would a 175 be too big? and will 165 be too small? sorry for noobing out. please do not kill me. |
or is this a good budget option if i have a sugino messenger chain ring to put on? would it even fit on these cranks?

are you dead yet? if youre taking super tight angles, riding a velo, a short crank is a must. my exp, if youre riding on the street, 175 is fine. |

I have a langster comp and the stock Sugino 75 165 w/ mks sylvans does not strike... or should I say has yet to strike LOL. I ride a 49x16 on the 165's and it's a little tough up steep hills but when I gear to an 18t cog, its just fine. 165's are not too small for anything but 170/175's make it all easier LOL

i love the comp but putting no name cranks on it is weaksauce. get kazane, they're colorful! or xd/rd messengers.
