Keirin frames

I've been looking around for a new frame for the past year or two and keep comming back to the idea of building up a NJS approved bike. Anyone know of builders other than Nagasawa, Gan Well, or 3Rensho? Any experience with these makes or others would be great.
Thanks

All 3Rensho frames are not Keirin certified- I believe the Cyclone and Track Racer aren't.

On a brighter note, the 3Rensho I bought is NJS stamped, and I didn't know this before I bought it. I am excited. Hooray.

Anyhow, building a FULL NJS bike isn't really worthwhile unless you are going to enter it in a show, race keirin, or want the coolness factor.

vivalo, cherubim, kiyo miyazawa and some of the bridgestone models are the ones i can come up with off the top of my head, 'tho finding one in the states is next to impossible. i thought about trying to build an all-NJS bike, but i don't like 36-spoke wheels, and i'm much too lazy for tubulars.

OK, so what does it mean to have NJS stamped on your frame?

Best part about the Nagasawa's are the dropouts. I'd put them on my fixie frames....if the bastid would sell them to other builders.
As for NJS certification...who gives a rats ass. Track is track. Wanna race on the track, you have to abide by the rules, regardless of location. If you're doing the urban fixie messenger thing, ignore the rules. That's the rule. Heh.

Ya'll are not riding Keirins so who needs the NJS certification? Its like the Kavlin Cline or Starbucks of the
fixie crowd.

Kerin frames

Everybody has their own reasons for riding fixed. I am going to buy a Nagasawa next year and will probably outfit with as complete a kerin certified component group as I can obtain. Among other bikes I own and ride is a bike that I rescued from a dumpster. It is not Kerin certified. I love it just as much as I know I will the forthcoming purchase. Ride what you love and love what you ride, not what somebody else rides and tells you to love.

Hi Ceya
Thank you quick reply
LEVEL & UNO is good makers
Unfortunately a producer was ill, and UNO became dead four years ago
Because it is valuable now, please be careful
How did the frame obtain it?

Tomity-Your HP is very nice. I like all the photographs of the riders, and it is good to see so many international riders competing in Keirin. It must add to the excitement of the races.

Any comments on Fumiyuku Beppu riding for Discovery next year? Have you met him?

From what I have read NJS certified is in existence because Keirin was designed to feed money back into the Japanese cycling industry. It is not necessarily better gear, it is just stamped and costs more so that more money can be circulated. Not that this is a bad thing.
