HAHA, Just Got a GT Track Frame

Just picked up a GT track frame for a very decent price. Not sure if it is the Pulse or the GTB. I am guessing the GTB because of the price I payed. It it is the Kinesis made one.

Anyways, no fork was included. What fork should I put on it? 1" threadless is a must, something not crazy expensive. Track specific or not? I really like carbon straight bladed forks.

This bike will be ridden on the street primarily, no velos around Ky

any ideas appreciated!
thanks

If you're riding on the street you might want to run a brake. A tight clearance carbon road fork with not much rake will let you run a front brake while keeping the geometry trackish. Nice catch, I've always liked those GT track frames, but I can't seem to find one anywhere.

The Pulse is made from Kinesis tubing.

it is NOS.
Not even a mark on the drop outs (nice pics). The dude had %100 positive feedback. I think I will trust him.
You could be right, but it's doubtful.

haha, I hope so. The top tube is 1.5cm bigger than my last frame, but the IRO was too small.
We will see. Will sell it if it is ill fitting.

It's to bad you aren't still in the lawn mowing business. My grass could use a trim. Seriously though, that GT frame looks sweet. I'm building a townie out of this weird old Gios frame i have. maybe i'll see you around town.

Because you could get a WHOLE BIKE for what you can sell that to some HED trispoke, clownshoe wearing kiddie.

GT frames are nice, but they're not spectacular. If you sold it right, or were willing to wait it out, you could get a Cannondale frame out of that frame, or mmmmmmmmmmmmmmaybe an older, used track pro.
