used to ride these as a job, swam as another job. That's how I became a triathlete. amazing what being poor will do to you.

Only thing that was still in the bag was 2 4 packs of Lo-Carb Monster and a 6 pack of Guinness Stout.
I'll have to find a way to really push it and do a week's groceries for my family (6 of us) with only 1 vandal.

The heaviest load I've done with this bag at 53 lbs. I was laughing at myself for even trying this out, but yet again this bag did the job well. The adjustments are really phenomenal

Just got a Metropolis recently (to go with my Ivan and my Senator. I have a thing for bags ) and I got carry my biggest load yet on my lunch break yesterday. Those are toner cartridges for a LaserJet 2500, I was taking them to a UPS drop box, sadly the first one nearly jammed the box, so I got to carry the other two back to my office.
I was unprepared for how large this thing is. It's longer than my torso and tends to wrap around me a bit. ('course, I'm only about 5'7" )

Metropolis is an awesome bag, I use mine for everything, did some pretty heavy grocery hauling, carried a 15kg dog food bag and so on.
The only picture I have from a heavy load is from when I carried my other bike from the LBS to my place.

I hate ghost riding so I rather carry it on my bag.

carry as much as you feel safe holding.
I broke my scapula from landing on a u-lock after falling off my bike the bag that was mostly empty of all things.
had my camera in it, and a lens in it. they came out fine.
I went from wearing a right handed bag to wearing a left handed bag worked out for me.
my left shoulder is going to hurt for the rest of my life. but the prices we pay.
but my right works great.

A little while ago I needed some furniture, so I picked up a desk and a chair.
