Thinking about parting out the unnecessary stuff, and converting to fixed. Or should I sell it whole?

don't part it out for god's sake. it's pretty snazzy as is. convert a frame that doesn't have all its og components or one that's just a **** bike...

The reason I'd like to part it out or at least sell it is because I need the money. 
. Vegas money that is! Staying at the Trump International this next weekend. 
The parts seem to be unoriginal anyway. They are mostly Japanese parts on this British bike. The original owner bought the frame + headset + stem + handlebars + seatpost, but the drivetrain is put together.

If it had a full, original group, I'm with the thought of keeping it together. But since it's a mix of parts (the front derailleur is WAY out of place) I'd part it out and put together a sweet-looking conversion.

Funny thing is as it is (setup as a decent roadie), I'm only getting $200-$300 offers. But all these crap ass Schwinn Traveler's being converted are going for the same amount. And even if I do convert (and properly), it wouldn't go for much because people who value vintage bikes don't like seeing classy bikes turning fixed, and kids who want fixed geared bikes don't understand that some of these well-built frames are worlds better than their cheap conversions. sigh. I lose.

to clear up any confusion. I'm converting/stripping/doing whatever to sell the bike - not to keep it for myself. I'm already happy with my other conversion.
