Especially when you find out they still don't reach.

and should be in about 40 days from now
As rear only
or as sets

We will be selling these calipers {Tektro} at a very low cost

We are thinking about $20 extra for a pair with the frame

What if you've already bought the frame? Can I still get a set for $20?

Did your gys try the R556 in the back too? It looks like, for the front at least, it has a lot of wiggle room. I'm sure the measurements indicate otherwise but I was still curious after you tried the front with success..

any info on standover heights? i'm in between the two largest sizes. trying to figure out which to go for. size of tires doesn't matter. i can do the math. and i'll probably run fatties anyhow.

since the Jury's geo will be mostly identical to the surly steamroller, you can look up the stand over heights here:

https://surlybikes.com/steamroller.html

EDIT: as far as bar-spin-ability, I've read that size 53cm steamrollers do have toe overlap, even with small clips and 165 cranks. The Jury's fork is a smidgen longer I believe, so who knows. I'll be that it still has toe overlap at 53cm, can't speculate about anything bigger than 53cm because I haven't done any research.

bump, anybody have any experience with the clearance. Real curious about the bar spinning *flame at will * on this frame. I plan on running 23s up front. If it can spin it, it would save me the $ from buying a gangsta fork.

thanks,

tons. the tire clearance and frame angles are the big differences. kilos can only fit skinny tires.

Save cash by buying a mtb fork instead the gangsta fork.

I'm assuming you are talking about a 29er fork right?

No, a suspension corrected 26" fork, like the SE landing gear or DMR trailblade.

my guess is UPS to most areas in Canada is $100 or so
If you want to make sure no canadians will buy this bike, make sure it ships by UPS.

If your concern is the ass-pounding you'll take from UPS's brokerage fees, then your concerns are valid.
But look at it from BD's perspective: The only shipping method that won't gouge you for brokerage fees (USPS) doesn't offer tracking for cross-border shipments.
Now can you fault them for wanting to know if their packages actually arrive?

Looks damn sweet.

Thinking about a build now rather than buying a Kilo TT.

EEK!

Just got my frame from the brown truck. The headset was not installed; I was a little annoyed at that. Headset installation is the only thing I don't have the tools for. I've had bad luck with the few LBS's around me. Hopefully they don't screw this one up.

I've installed headsets in the past with a 5" bolt and nut and a few washers. Just go slow and be careful.

I've done that too. It works, use lots of grease and be careful to make sure the cups are going in straight.
