Converting from 27" to 700cc?
Is it possible to convert an old fuji to 700cc?
The ease of the conversion? Sorry for the noob question. |
remove 27" wheel, install 700c wheel.

Wow noob alert sorry.

You might want to check that your brake pads can reach low enough, if you run brakes.

Thank you!

The only issues are that your brakes may not reach and you'll further drop the height of the bottom bracket.
I got lucky with the Purple Mistake, the Weimann Centerpulls still reached. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2283/...50f367.jpg?v=0

Yeah, but its nice to occasionally churn the muck up from the bottom and I get the opportunity to post The Mistake again. |
For some reason too much reading this forum tells me I am supposed to hate that bike, but it's gorgeous (as a slow-moving MUP/small town cruiser).
