I've learned from reading this board that some of the posters are jerks. I rarely post and just read because of it. The curbside is the first bike I've ever bought. I don't care what the folks on here think of it. It's a really solid beginner bike.

I don't know, I bet it probably rides just fine. But someone made the comment that it looked like Felt went on FGG for 10 minutes and came up with the design scheme afterwards. I thought it was a pretty appropiate comment. The point it is, the bike comes in some garish colors that are going to elicit a strong reaction whether you want it or not. If you like the way it looks, and the test ride was smooth, then go for it & be happy. But opening this bike up to the forum is asking for trouble. I think it looks like a peice of poo on toast. But that's me.

and who cares how it looks???? i like that it's loud and obnoxious.... because i am too. i love argyle.. maybe not orange argyle... but w/e it a seat and a pad... it's not like it's the entire bike.

w.e it comfy as hell and i dont care what you all think.. it's a cheap bike to beat around on at the beach cuz i sure as heck am not going to buy a beach cruiser

I have one that I commute with, I ditched the top tube pad and added a rack and panniers. I am not too hot on the color but it is growing on me other than that I am really happy with it.

These people need to be mocked every possible chance so that they stop thinking that the number one issue is looks and start to realize the advantage to a forum is people's personal experience with the bike. Anyone can go to felt's website and see the looks, and unless you are tool of the year, you probably don't give too much of a **** what all the coolest fixie riders think of how your bike looks.

We get it guys, you ride a heavy late 70's road conversion that's all looks and no utility. You're truly awesome.

I like how it looks. Certainly looks better than my bike which was only available in traffic pylon orange (hate the colour, love the bike, if it pisses me off so much I'll eventually paint it). Who really cares what people think about your bike's aesthetics?

There are now a ton of $500-$800 stock "urban assault" fixies out there. They are basically all the same, quality- and performance-wise. So when it comes down to it, there's not much worth judging except the looks. Sorry, but the people who designed the Felt Curbside are way outta touch (actually approaching John McCain levels of out of touch) when it comes to bike fashion. The Langster has a similar problem, btw.

If eyelets for racks and fenders is a primary concern, there are boatloads of better looking bikes out there that are of equivalent quality for similar money. For instance, how about a Jamie Roy or a 925? I personally don't put high emphasis on the looks of bikes, but all else being equal, I will choose what I think looks better. Anyone who thinks the curbside looks good should go for it. I won't hold that against anyone. No ones going to take it personally, though most of us here clearly wouldn't buy it.

i'm gettign this bike for cost. i'll be using for a fun/ utility bike. its ordered already... and for the price i'm gettign it for i cant go wrong. and i cant leave anything stock for long, so i'll eventually shut all u haters up. i'm generally nore a traditional geometry fan, but this bike makes sense for me.

Why would you want to shut up the haters. Its far more entertaining to continue provoking them.

I dig my curbside and the way it looks. I've changed the seat and top tube pad, crankset, pedals, bars, and chainring. It works great for my commutes and is fun to ride. This is my first SS so I am happy with my choice. I just recently got a cheap windsor hour frame that I plan on building into an FG to learn on.

mine will only be ridden fixed but thats for some real info. glad u like and i cant wait for min e to get here!
