yeah except not.
the v6 sti ra type R was two door as well. there are plenty of two door sti's running around. that, and all the 22bs are extremely unique bodywise, they have the body of the rally cars. unfortunately I have to swap my stock exhaust back in today/tomorrow to get my 02 smogged. ugh. I probably won't swap the turbo-back after I get it smogged and just run stock from now on. |
what's w/ the plastic pedals and lack of foot retention?

Thats what came on the bike, sorry I gotten around to changing them yet.

The growing trend of performance car owners and fixed gears is really funny... 100 years of technology overlapping in two very different interests.
My brother works in a shop back home that tweaks the **** out of cars. The best in the South East hands down. I feel dirty going into his shop, even though it's spotless. mmmm the smell of 9 mpg... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3059/...452c89ecc4.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3056/...e7b61b432b.jpg |
That's clearly not a subaru engine bay.
It's a 240sx w/ US spec motor that's turboed. Probably making 450+whp judging by the fact that it has an aftermarket intake manifold. What shop is that? |

Bikes are cool... but nothing beats high octane mountain driving. Touge, drifting... that s14 above is pure sex.

subarus get good gas mileage and run forever....oh and they're sexy as hell....why the hate? some people do drive cars AND ride bikes....getting sooo tired of the elitist bs in these forums.
get over yourselves. you're not as awesome as you think you are. and way to go with the wagons guys! wrx wagons are effing hot! i almost bought one this summer but couldn't bear the thought of it getting beat up in philly. |
i'm plenty awesome.
i think i'm super crazy awesome but the reality is that i'm even more awesome than that. and subarus are SUPPOSED to be beat up... they're supposed to go on all kinds of terrain in all kinds of weather and they're supposed to get dirty, get dinged, and get used. especially the wagons... and especially by lesbians and liberal outdoorsy types. If i wasn't a white man i'd be a lesbian liberal outdoorsy type. instead i'm a nerd. sucks to me, but at least i can still love my subaru. |

Care to explain how it is "elitist" to want to discuss bicycles in a BICYCLE forum? "Dude, I came to effin Alpe d'Huez to watch sexy, hot cars drive up it and these elitist effin guys just are riding these two wheeled thingies up the hills and moving their legs in circles! They need to get the hell over themselves, since they are not as awesome as they think they are, and get in one of those cars driving behind them. One of those sexy, hot, awesome cars, which gets really effin good gas mileage! I'm tired of watching them ride those bs elitist contraptions!!" You are tired after being here a week. We had better reshape this subforum to appeal to you more, or else you might join and leave within the month of August:rolleyes: |
so two subie lovers also ride nearly the exact same Dawes. interesting. maybe it's genetic.

Sexy as hell? *blink, blink* Oh kaaaaaaaay. |
There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a car and a bike. There is some incongruity in pouring money into a car to trick it out and posting it on a bike forum. However, in and of itself owning a car is not sacrilege to an eco-friendly lifestyle.
I live in the city and can go without a car but not everyone lives in a urban center. It's actually more fun--and sometimes faster--to bike in the city than to drive. However, I grew up in the burbs and my first car was a '95 Legacy which I absolutely loved. Subaru makes great cars. If I move out of the city for job reasons I will likely get a car. It will definitely be a Subaru. I will still have and ride my bike. |
