Hi, Newbie here.....
I'm not sure this will post as a link. Can anyone offer suggestions on this bike please? In case the link doesn't work, it is a Trek Cruiser Classic. Thanks, Mark

My suggestion is to get a different bike.

not really an expert on cruisers, but it looks sweet, and it gets good reviews.
have you thought about internally geared cruisers, they are super reliable and offer more than one gear, for climbing, or bombing. trek has a line of bikes i think they call them "limes" |
you'd have to pay me to ride it
|
It is a nice looking bike.
Do you live near a beach? Are you Pee-Wee Herman? |
I think its a pretty sweet bike! Id ride that thing everywhere! I do have a few classic cruisers and ride them often, SS and FG are cool but there are different bikes made for different rides ;) Sometimes you just want to cruise! :thumb: Heres my cruiser baby! Oh Yeah! (I know Ive posted it before but hey, shes a sweet ride and I love to show her off!)

wtf is with all that extra metal? also, why do cruisers insist on having geometrically inefficient shapes? shouldn't a bicycle builder know that a triangle is stronger than a squiggle?
