bikesdirect: will bikeisland be getting a fresh supply for tt frames?
|
What size in the Pro in the picture? I've been waiting for the Kilo TT for more then a month but this looks like a hot bike!
|
Can we get the specs on the 55cm? I'm trying to decide if that or the 53 will work better for me.
|
can't wait to be able to preorder one of the cream colored pros. Hopefully I can actually get my hands on one of these this time around.
+1 for a spec sheet for the pros. |

I have this parked in my hall and every time I walk by it, it gets better looking I really think I'll like the Cream -- but the orange is fantastic |

Do the Kilo TT and Kilo TT Pro use the same frame?
we built a OX sample version - but it weighed the same and ran price up an extra $100 on frame only BTW - the one I have here sure feels light |
That looks really good. With my recent Iro plans squashed, either the Kilo TT or Pro will be my next bet.
|
looks good. i like the alex rims.
|
Alright guys..
first to bikes direct i appreciate you being able to bring this great bike to us now i have a question to the public a bike shop in nyc quoted me 580 for an IRO mark V with deep v's. but the kilo tt pro has the sugino crank and is around 500.. i'm pretty much set on the pro, does anyone else object? |

I waited too long to order mine, and they sold out of my size.
|
when you put the kilo tt pros up do you think you will have samples of the colors also?

Great looking bike. Love the colour.
However, I would still go for the original Kilo TT just because I like the name "grape soda" for a colour. Me too :) I just prepaid for my "grape soda" Kilo |
is that a good sugino crank?
|
question: ------>
" PrePay now for the best price and selection. The INSTOCK price maybe more." i understand that it is smart to buy now, for all the sizes are in stock. . . but why would the INSTOCK price of the bike maybe be more?? |

You may have noticed bike prices are going up 15% to 25% and in fact some of our competitors have increased SS/FG bike prices by 67% in the last month or so I am trying to keep our prices the same even though our costs on bikes have gone up. In fact, I have spent a good bit of time getting lower costs from transportation companies, insurance companies, and others to try and keep prices low. I think it is important to keep SS/FG in a low price range with high quality as the same time. However, when oil comes up, materials go up, and the USD goes down -- there is a lot of pressure to increase prices. |

bikesdirect dot com. . i completely understand the prices are going up. no problem with that, that's just the way it works.
I was just wondering why it'd be more if you waited. It's the same bike, preordered or not. But looking forward to seeing more for sure. |
could be an incentive to get people to go ahead and commit to purchasing, and would be mutually beneficial: you potentially pay less, and he gets the money ahead of time.
