Messenger in LA
 

Hey, I know this thread always pops up but I'm wondering if anybody has some more specific info for LA bike messenger jobs. I live downtown and I am really fast and know my way around. Beyond that, how do I go about getting into the courier service?

They don't hire hipsters. Or, no one cares how "fast" you are, they care if you know how to get to around.
You have to be a meth/crack addict, a gay hustler, or a Ghetto Homie to be a DTLA Messenger.

From what I gathered, quick delivery is expected in messengers. So how fast one can ride is completely relevant. Also, I did in fact say that I know my way around. So with that, please calm down.
