40+ SSFG crowd - who else other than me?

I just started riding a fixie at 40. Why have I been messing with all those gears for all these years?
46, haven't flipped the back wheel yet though. I guess I'm I'm still a bit apprehensive about making the swap, it's only been 2 months since returning to biking. Ah what the hell maybe this weekend I'll give it a go!

47 in a few weeks. Ride fixed all winter and usually in good shape come spring for it. Also use a FG beater for errands and around town year round.

51 next month and have been riding FG for 2 yrs.
I now have 2. I have clincher and tubular wheels for each bike. Prefer the sew-ups:love: I ride a 44X16 on the tubulars and 44X17 on the clinchers. |
WTF, I'm not old enough for the old guy thread? Fine then, I'll just go back to thirty year old land, wherever the **** that is.
40. FG year round. Hung up my geared bikes for another time. For now, fixed. And probably forever.
