Spooki, when I emailed them he shot back a response that he was skeptical that I didn't receive a fork. Like I really want a spare ****ty fork for my beater frame... anyway... after that I used their address to track down the number for Bikesdirect and Bikeisland and they guy who answered...

...had no idea about anything... said to email...

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I did get the fork much later.

Great preliminary review of the frame, sp00ky. Looking forward to the buildup.

Nope, instead he'll need one of those long reach brake calipers.

Unless he's really tired. Then he'll need a huge break.

update: got the fork. the quality isn't as impressive as the frame, unfortunately. it's a bit on the heavy side (though i have to cut it down quite a bit, so this may not be an issue later) and has what i'm guessing is a piece of loose metal trapped in one of the fork blades.
the chroming has a few spots around the crown where it's not as smooth as the rest of the fork, though it's not incredibly noticeable.
I'll report later once i get it built up and start riding.
