$20 street tire?
Shopping for parts for my SS build. Pricepoint has some $15-20 tire options but I'm not familiar with road tires. Any suggestions for a $15-$20 700c road tire for street use?
Anyone have experience with this tire?

Redstorms are my favorite cheap tire.
Great compound, and decent mileage.
I actually stocked up on them when I found out the shop I was working at had them in the basement.

performancebike.com had some FORTE tires (made by Kenda) red sidewall for $15.99 each. I got mine in the local store here.

Michelin Speedium 2. About 20 bucks and have held up pretty good in rough NY streets.

My bike came with vittoria zaffiros and they've been good to me. No flats or punctures in about 600 miles over gravel, possibly glass once or twice, torn up streets and the like. No skidding so I can't speak to that, but I would buy them again.
