Need help finding/choosing pedals.
As per topic..
I am looking for something clipless that still has unidirectional pedals. I dont wanna have to worry about pedal position. I pretty much still wanna be able to bike up(hill) to the liquor store, wearing my flip-flops and be safe/not slip off my pedals.. I saw some SPD types today that had a big ol nasty looking piece of plastic around um that would work but I wanna see if you guys know of something better. besides them being huge and nasty looking, its to my understanding that the SPD types have no 'float' to them. Theres gotta be something good out there, i just dont know about it.. edit: these are gonna be for fg use. |
FG + platform + flip-flops?
I hope you're talking about a flip-flop hub. |

The Shimano 324's are what you are looking for. They almost always hang the same way, meaning you flip them forward to ride in one type of shoe, and backwards to ride in the other. They work great too. You can get them at Performance or Nashbar for $50 occasionally. http://bike.shimano.com/publish/cont..._mountain.html
Niagra also has a good price thru amazon http://www.amazon.com/Shimano-PD-M32...1056391&sr=8-8 |
Have you looked at Grip Kings?

Thnx for the responce guys. I'm at work right now so I can't rlly chk anything out right now but ill get there.
In the meantime tho, if anyone else has recomendations.. I won't complain. |

I have the Shimano 324's and they work fine. I also have some Shimano pedals that clip on both sides so it's a no brainer. I like those too since there's no looking, just clipping.

I've got something like this on my bike. Works with mtb shoes for times when you want to be able to walk in your shoes after you stop. I also picked up some platforms that clip into my pedals.

MKS SYLVAN LITES - best pedal out there. Won't dig into your feet, has a nice platform with some slight grip as well.
