Wanted Sweet old frame

Hey all,

New to this forum, read over the stickies, but was hoping i could get some help. I wanted to find an identical frame to the one i just bent. Its a 1977 (I believe) Raleigh Grand Prix (Green/Black/Bronze). It was around 56 cm, i am not sure which sizes they ran in for men's but it was about that size. I would love to get my hands on another one, but the chances of that are pretty small, so i was curious if anyone had an idea of where i could buy a frame for a singlespeed that takes 700c wheels. I live in central/northern va, ive started hitting up the goodwills, but nothing has turned up so now i turn to you.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I think most frames from that era will be made for 27" wheels, but you can run 700c in them with slightly longer-reach brakes

How much are you looking to spend? And are the details of it being a 77 Raleigh Grand Prix (Green/Black/Bronze) a must?

DC craig's list has bikes and frames all the time that will work for you. Maybe no Raleigh GPs, but plenty of great rides that will fit 700c wheels. Same for ebay.
