Show off your Singlespeed
 

I have been through pages and pages of photos in the Fixed Gear/SS Photos thread. As I get ready to put together the first build of my SS, I wanted to get some ideas and see how other's are built up. Unfortunately, the number of Singlespeeds compared to the FG are so small you cannot even find them.

Since the singlespeeds are such a small percentage of the pictures, lets put them here in it's own thread. So us what you got!!!!

It's an NOS Carradice Cadet. Carradice still makes Cadets just not quite like this. Google it.

It's from a few years back which is too bad 'cause it looks WAY better than maroon.

Which seems to contain a very high ratio of fixed gear bikes in relation to single speed bikes... I like the idea of gathering all the ss bikes into one place as there is often a different aesthetic and perhaps a somewhat different rider demographic.

Hell... it could even become a stickie.

what the hell is with all these saggy chains?

Those chains all look okay to me... one should set the chai tension on an ss like they do a fixed gear and a little slack is a good thing.

I will have to go and find some pics of my old ss bikes... some of which are now fg bikes.

I know i need to tense the chain a bit more, (did it this morning after the chain jumped off on a series of pot holes)

You are right. I forgot to add "but I hardly see any SS's only FG" after "I have been through pages and pages of photos in the Fixed Gear/SS Photos thread". My bad. But I did go through hundreds of the 1000+ pages only to see mostly FG bikes. I would like an easy place to see the SS bikes and not to try to search through a needle in a haystack thread.
