Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I did like it when Lance was talking to the cops; I imagine it was something along the lines of "Yeah, sorry officer, just a little bit of horse play, we will turn it down a notch" whereas, if he hadn't been there, the cops would have ticketed everyone. Star-power.
Thanks for the clear answer. That would explain why i didn't get, Living in Dublin, even being a Capital, is far from being a Big city...
Riders are pretty laid back here haha

One of the reasons people are such fans of mash is it is the first movie featuring urban, stylized fixed gear riding that was very well made (i can't believe how good the camera work is)

that would be one of the coolest things i can imagine. just hanging out with Lance Armstrong and riding around town with him!

I'm pretty sure there's not a pursuit racer in the world, spare Wiggins, who would want to see Lance on the other side of the track. I'd love to see that, personally...

Nope. I doubt anyone could hold Lance off (hence the 7 Tour wins). I just said he dropped Lance like a hot rock. Whether he did it while Lance wasn't ready, wasn't racing, or whatever, it doesn't matter. It just shows that this kid has the power to go. I don't know how many people can even ride with Lance...at a pace that's not snail pace for him...let alone accelerate away from him. For that alone, I personally give this kid a lot of props.

Props to the kid no doubt, but to me it didnt look like Lance was doing anything or going to anything from the get go. I am sure that kid was pumped as all heck to think he actually did drop Lance.

Dude, that's like saying you drove by a Ferrari on the highway in your Geo Metro that was on the back of a trailer and you "totally blew by him".

It kinda does matter, a lot, on what Mr. Armstrong was doing at the time.
