Here's my Alien
Here's my 61 cm Alien. I built it up this afternoon. I'm happy - rides great. A bit smoother that my Rush Hour frame (all my stuff came off of a 57 cm.)
I know, some of you are going to cap on my risers, but I like them - and the bike fit's my fine. I'll prolly eventually get bullhorns - but I'll need a shorter stem.
My cranks are Andels from Ben's. I'm running a 110.5 mm bottom bracket. My chain-line is pretty good (Aliens BB's are 103's i think).
I have a Tektro short reach brake. No need for a short reach adaptor.
The powder coat is real thick. I had to file down the ends to get the wheels on. The lugs are kind of shallow, but they didn't wash out too bad. I might get them pin-striped.

Nice!
How tall are you/ what's your inseam? Not sure if I should get a 61 or 63. (Ideally I'd like something in-between,)

I'm an average 6' even . No arm to torso to leg length anomalies. I don't know my inseam.
I thought they ran a size, but the seem more like a size and a half bigger. Maybe I just need to get use to it tho.
Edit: Oups, I meant I thought they ran a size smaller, but they feel like only a half size smaller.

Yeah, I don't know mine either. I just thought it sounded more official!
I'm 6'2". I guess I'm going for the 63.
That gray's real nice, tho. That's the standard dark gray off the website?

I'd be happy to take more shots, but it's pretty standard stuff. What do you need to see?

IDK, the fitting of the brakes I guess.
The pictures and description on the site makes it seem like finding brakes that will fit is rare.
I wanted to get one until those pictures came out, but if brakes are easy to find then

I was worried too. I jumped the gun and bought the short reach kit from Ben's - I'm going to return it...unless someone want to take it off my hands (it works with no drilling at all).

I haven't looked into these.
Those lugs are pretty nice... does anyone know what they are?
