Action Track "style" Crank
Hey, I tried searching for this already but I didn't find anything...
This crank set that Harris Cyclery has on their website, Action Track Style Crank, for $59. http://sheldonbrown.com/harris/images/CK11522.JPG http://www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/c...30-single.html Anyone have it? I can't even find the damn things in google. The main reason I was interested is for the 1/8", the neater chainline I can achieve with a 107mm BB, it's smaller than my 52T original crank I have, and you can replace the chainrings, as opposed to my single piece crank right now. Keep in mind, I'm budget oriented, as this is going to be my winter, rain, bar bike. Also of note, for about $20 more I can get the Soma Hellyer Crankset. Just spend the extra dough? |
Looks like an Andel crank (maybe).
See them at Ben's cycles, Alien or IRO. |
Hmm, I would shoot them an email but it looks like most of them are at Interbike for the week, so that sucks.

79 for the soma hellyer? tell me how i can go where you go |
It has a 130bcd, why not just get a Shimano road double and a 107mm BB? Both together should be about what the Action Track crank costs alone. Hell, if you work at a shop, you could probably find an old 105 crankset that nobody wants.
I paid $33 shipped for my 105 cranks (used) and $17 for the UN54 BB (shipping was $9, but it included other items as well). Chris |

Poke around ebay and you can find some great deals on cranks. I got a set of Dura-Ace cranks with rings from the late 80s or early 90s (7400 series I think) for $35 shipped a year ago.
