Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I take it back .will look at the questions that are up right now.
Some not all.
Need to use their brains.
How did they find this forum. How do they even know how to tie their shoes
The reason they can't afford stuff is because they can't keep a job because they are too lazy to do anything for themselves or to dumb to figure anything out.
This does not apply to most.

But I challenge these few to use their brains, to problem solve, to figure somethings out for themselves.
It will make for a better country and help them get farther in life.

this is a stupid thread, but i agree with sniks. you pay for what you get. if you want to ride a $250 bike, then do it, and deal with riding a $250 dollar bike, and don't complain about it.

If you are riding a $250 bike you should have saved another $100 and got a kilo

SOPO bikes will let you make a bike for 50 bucks : ) from used parts that they collect . . . as long as people are on bikes and using them as a relatively normal form of transportation, i'm cool with it, let complainers complain, they have a right to think that a bike shouldn't be 1000 dollars with a steel frame and aluminum fork with mediocre parts. . . . and the companies have a right to charge it, such is life : ) now go ride your bike

and if you're really cool, you'll piss people off by riding with your ipod ; )

GET ON THE BIKE AND RIDE!!!!
