I think its well built but $7000.00 well built? NOT! But again, it is a VERY nice frame

Why would Schwinn throw such an ugly fork on that bike?
And whoever put that Chris King on the Paramount should be fired.

...It's lightweight and rides great, that makes no sense at all.

Agreed, that Paramount needs something like a Super Record headset.

nope, this was right to start with....

Richard Schwinn and company are making this frame. It so happens R. Schwinn now calls himself Waterford Precision Cycles now...

Really, Schwinn (Co.) needed to produce this in the original Paramount factory to pull off the heritage/$$$/fuzzy feelings campaign. And it so happens it's a truly top-quality and beautiful frame to boot.

Actually, for all the detail work that went into the lugs and stays and everything, those Schwinn graphics are pretty horrible.

They should have gone retro like the Madison on a flagship bike that they're re-intruducing.

I think this misses the point. This is a lugged, steel throwback of a bike. If it were a modern, high-performance frame, that would be different, but this looks like it's meant more for turning heads than serious riding. This really ought to have a steel fork with a pretty crown.
