Crank/BB noise after skidding?
I recently put brand new cranks (Andel) and a bottom bracket on. Everything was installed correctly and tight. I've noticed however, that after I skid or put a good amount of back pressure on the peddles, then peddle forward again, I get (usually) one noise, sounds like if you were to lightly tap the crank with a hammer. Is this normal and just due to the fact that I'm reversing a lot of pressure on the drivetrain very suddenly? Or should I be checking something out? Let me know if you have this issue (if its even a real issue). Remember the bottom bracket, cranks, and chain are all brand new.
btw, the parts have been installed for a few weeks now. The noise has seemed to lessened a lot, but its still there sometimes.

Yeah something didn't seem right when I typed "peddle" haha, one of those mental blocks I guess.
My cog and lockring are fine. It seems to be a tiny little "bang" or knock, when I start going forward again, and its coming from between my feet. I tightened my chain ring bolts, they were mostly pretty tight, there was one or two that I was able to get 1/8 to 1/4 a turn on. We'll see if that does anything.

I had something like that cause my bb was not wrenched in tight. If you track stand can you get the "tick". Also, flip it over and wrestle the cranks by hand, can you see/feel the bb "tick"?

yeah you may need to re-adjust your bottom bracket. the spindle may have play in it. the first thing i would check is the chain ring bolts. second would be bottom bracket.
