Crosstop-lever okay?

Hi,

Is it ok to use one of cane's crosstop-levers on e fixie?
Some other similar brake-levers out there?

I just switched from a Tektro to the Cane Creek cross top, it's just as strong and reliable.

I have a Cane Creek crosstop on my Raleigh conversion and it works great. It's also very convenient that they are hinged for easy removal/ installation.

Although, if you are going to be riding in drops (what handlebars are you using?) most of the time, you might want something else. I tend to only ride in the drops in nice open areas where I hopefully won’t need my "emergency" brake.

Probably the Forte (performancebike) and the Nashbar ones (and maybe SOMA) are the exact same as the Tektros. There isn't really much to cross-top brakes, unless you want to make the levers out of carbon.

I would put on the left side - I'm riding mtb aswell, so put the front on the right may just confuse me

To be ultra hip, you could mount it on the left side of your stem, pointing to the right. It's hipster cred +10
