2009 Langster - How big of a tire will fit?
I'm looking for a multi-use singlespeed bike. Something I can ride hard & put away wet (ie. low maintenance). It'll be ridden on the roads and on the trails (smoothish crused gravel).
I had a chance to ride a 58cm 2009 Langster this afternoon, and it seemed like it would be a decent choice. However, I'd like to ride a bigger tire in the Winter than the 700X23 that this one was set up with.
So, can anyone tell me how large a tire will work on the Langster? Will a 700X32 cyclocross tire fit?
Steve

Sort of a bump...
I have the 2009 Tokyo Langster and I was thinking about making it a ss cyclocross bike. Curious if anyone had an answer to this old post..? The rear stays taper in at the tire and it seems like there's a lot of room. It seems like cross forks, new tires and cantilevers are all that are needed. Anyone? thanks.
