I think hwdxbassist was joking. But yeah, the Chub Hub doesn't give me a chub. Thanks guys, now that you've pointed it out I will never look at that bike the same way again :[

I don't really "get" this bike. Can you cut that mast-thing shorter?

I’m really interested in that bike, but I don’t know enough about it. I’ve got a buddy who’s an expert in Cinelli Lasers and I’d like to have him take a look at it.

That's Andrew LaCorte's bike. He's one of the faster guys in the country in terms of track sprinting.

This bike is a team bike, so it's custom for him. He's a tall dude. Maybe 6'4"? This is not the mass produced version.

It is probably "inspired" by the Tiemeyer.

The chub hub is probably there to keep the spoke lengths as short as possible so that they won't flex. This would be a training wheel.

- Anything with Campagnolo or Cinelli on them
- Anything not drilled for brakes
- Turbo saddles
- Nitto Jaguar Stems

- Any "custom" bike...even though it was made custom for someone else haha. So, it does you no good.
- Brooks Saddles
- Anything old.

I saw one of those Cannondales on the street right before people when ape-sh*t over them. I saw it, said to myself, "Humph...nice.", and went on about my conversation. The ONLY reason that bike is at $2,425 right now is the same reason that $80 sneakers used to go for $400...people think that other people want it really bad. So, some guy is gonna buy it to want his internet buddies to think he's the man for having it. I can almost guarantee you that it is NOT a collector buying the bike.

"This is Andrew’s US National Championship winning team issue metallic silver (medium size) Kissena. For a guy who’s 6’3″ you’d think he should be on a large size Kissena. For many elite track racers they prefer a frame a little small… the shorter the frame, the shorter the wheelbase is and the stiffer and more agile the ride is. Fortunately for Andrew and the Kissena, the integrated seat mast makes all of this possible."

I think the sizing is based on a mass produced medium Kissena. I'm not sure what else they changed for his team issue, but the seatmast looks longer than the stock models. And 6'4" was a great guess, haha.
