Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Indeed. And little brother Ken Taylor (IIRC, he's only in his 70s now) has been invited to the Seattle Bike Expo and Classic Bike Show on March 13 & 14, 2010. Be there or be square.

yeah that's a nice bike, but I don't like the fact that he's running a threadless stem conversion kit on a threaded fork. I'm pretty sure that's what is going on, anyways.

Also, I think once you get to a certain height, it's really hard to find bikes that DO fit you. I mean if you're like 6'7" or something, even the largest frames that most manufacturers make are gonna be too small for you. Must suck. Then again, it's a good excuse to go custom

Great frame, I wish it had gears.

if it had a nicer saddle, no rear light, and a more conventional/aerodynamic angle on the bars i'd like it a lot.

seat is a bit low but its still a really good looking bike. That is a really good deal if I was in the market for a new bike I would try to snatch that up.

possibly, but they could want the lower top tube for leg clearance when sprinting, just a thought
