It belongs in the jackass thread. Sure cool he did it fixed blah blah blah.
But it's such a nonsensical set up, and definitely not porn by a long shot.
Maybe that's not his regular rear? Just guessing. But you're right, definitely not porn.

You're an idiot.

Did you ever think that maybe he's running a bulletproof tire so he wouldn't have to change a flat? How much time do you think you lose fixing a flat? Probably a lot more than a 150g tire would save you. That, and the woman leading on the bike leg had to drop out of the race because she got 3 flats and only had 2 CO2 cartridges.

Edit: That being said, the bike is definitely NOT porn, but it is still cool that he did that, and deserves major respect, especially from a bunch of guys who should know how tough that would be.

We have a pretty good showing. Our Tri Team at Cal Poly is pretty big, and pretty competitive. Weather's always perfect for riding, running and swimming so it makes sense.

You're an idiot.
That's for an Armadillo Elite, he's not running an elite, you can tell by the color of the sidewall. He's running the plain ol' All Condition, and by the looks of it it's at least a 25, maybe even a 28. To give him the benefit of the doubt, his rear tire weighs at least 435 grams. and that assuming Specialized didn't fudge that a little to the lighter size.

Oh snap.

who cares, eh? it's a tri (they're a wierd lot) and weight doesn't matter on a flat race such as the course that a tri is held on.

enough said, move on.

Looks better in the closeups.

Yet another expensive car manufacturer collabo.

Would be special, but let down by machined braking surface on a carbon wheel that has disc brakes.

You know I noticed that too. If that bike was ~8k cheaper id consider buying it. I really want to know how much those wheels would cost.

yeah it's pretty sweet at first glance, though. And that's a minor detail. I love how the carbon fiber is silver/white but still has a visible top layer. Looks sick. I'd like to see more of that. Also, who made this? Was Seven involved?
