Bianchi Pista Concept or Cinelli Vigorelli

I'm in the market for a new frame, and I've narrowed it down to these two choices. Looking for pros and cons of either, or if I should just go with the one I think "looks coolest."

Anyone that has ridden either or both, please give me your 2 cents. Thanks.

Also, I did a search and found a similar thread, but it didn't have much useful information.

um instead of 7000 grade aluminum you get columbus tubing.

other than that difference it's just personal preference imho....

i've ridden a vigorelli, not a concept though.

either one is "cool" too...

What did you think of Vigorelli when you rode it? Compared to your FTP I guess?

Are these two bikes even in the same price range? I thought vigorellis were much more expensive.

The vigorelli is a bit more pricey, but not too far out of range.

Anyone else have any input?

vigorelli feels a little more "compact" in geometry to a comparable size concept. my bro has a vigorelli and i have a concept. i prefer a concept. imo, the vigorelli seems to be built a little better also.

I went with the concept. I was presented with a pretty decent deal on one and it's a bit cheaper anyway, so I can spend the extra coin on upgrading some other stuff.

edit: That really shouldn't be a frowny face. I'm super stoked on getting the concept as I've had my eye on the frame ever since I got into riding track bikes. It's been a "dream bike" for awhile, so I just had to pull the trigger. And if I decide I'd rather have the Vigorelli I'm sure I can always sell the concept anyway, they tend to hold a pretty decent resale value.

2006.

Build plans so far look like...
Concept frame & fork, stock fsa headset, silver thomson 100mm stem, soma major taylor drops (probably wrapped with white fizik tape), silver thomson post, Omnium cranks, mks pedals and clips w/ white doubles, black san marco rolls, and polished deep v's laced to paul hubs.

If by pretty decent you mean totally inflated... the amount Concepts have been going for on eBay is ridiculous, so if you want to make a really nice profit you gotta decide whether you want to keep that Concept or not before the 09's roll out... They're a seller's market frame right now for sure.

I have a concept and really like it a lot, but that vigorelli sure does looks sick. I really love the look of that new mash bike too... if that wasn't such a marketing stunt pre-packaged bike I'd go for that.

I think I would rather have the Cinelli... but then again Celeste is a hot color (I have an '05). If you can score a matte black pre-05 then definitely go for that. The white ones look great too actually.

Just my %0.02.

Yeah, all the cool guys wear shutter shades now.

Actually, the only people I've seen wearing them look like they're trying way too hard...
