I just think there are plenty of other ways they could have made that logo look if their overpaid marketeers pulled their heads out of their rears. Especially the black and white one. Eepp...

Yes, and the swastika was around long before the NDSP. Doesn't mean you still shouldn't go around throwin' it up/on things.

I dont think gran compe's marketers are rolling around in pools of gold and yen.

They are a Japanese product. Do think Japan has a good sense of outside culture or any clue of the "SS" somewhat relating to Nazis?

protip: japan == ethnocentrism to the max

Japan was part of the Axis during WWII...

besides I doubt any Gestapo Schutzstaffel would be able to kidnap anyone if their victims could see them rolling up on their hot pink and lime green wheeled bikes...

Hey, who can resist the Nazi design and fashion scheme? I mean really... They were such sharp dressers!

That would have made the war so much easier!

I wonder if the muscle grouping required for goose-stepping for long periods of time is similar to those required for fix skidzzz

no...but goose-stepping does help stretch your quads after riding a century of uphill sprints with a 48x15....

that's true but do you honestly think the 20 year old kiddos designing this crap know about that?

Jabba Degrassi 10-17-08 02:41 PM

Actually, these are so wrong they circled right around past right and landed smack-dab in the middle of wrong again.

malpag3 10-17-08 03:09 PM

any DoD players here? lol (guilty)

Do these really leave colored skids? I can see it now...hipster art installation...

veganeric 10-17-08 03:20 PM

Hipster talk/bashing aside...Does anyone know how these ride? Compared to Michelin Pro2s or Conti GP4000s?

erichsia 10-17-08 03:27 PM

I remember Deathare posting that these kinda sucked in some other thread. Something about them not being durable as far as colored tires go.

idiq 10-18-08 07:25 AM

Yeah, they're tires. Big deal. I didn't get a hard-on. Stop lurking the interwebs and go ride.

What tubing did you get? Uno, Zero, or LTZ? And what geometry did you spec it to?

I'm sure you know the swastika has origins and meanings different than strictly Nazi Germany...

AND PLEASE DON'T QUOTE WITH PICTURES. THANKS.
