Kinda like a fat chick; might be fun but I wouldn't want my friends to see me riding it.

cheap frame...those welds are yucky

blamire 10-16-08 10:32 AM

i cant remember which one but theres a 2009 leader frame the has ridiculously short chainstays.
as in the colts are on the end of the dropouts and the tire is very close to the seatpost. too close.

to the OP, you need to learn how to search. there are threads on this...many threads

Don't you always say "who cares" when we ***** about the constant reposts of the same questions (and folks not searching) in the KiloTT thread? :)

you really need to learn how to search dummy OP... you're a complete inconvenience to all on this forum

Fasto 10-18-08 11:23 AM

Isn't the price part of the appeal? Did I read somewhere that the next wave of 721tr frames are gonna have better geometry so the wheel isn't at the back of the dropouts?

Leaders are solid, if somewhat utilitarian. The Eastern European tractor of bikes. I see a couple at the tracks. They perform adequately. They're nothing anyone would ever call bling, but they're not crap either. Their forks are rubbish, though.

jdms mvp 10-23-08 10:08 AM

yea i really despise the forks, i really despise most leader builds actually :P
