brake lever options for risers?

The last thing I need for my 3rd project is a front brake lever, which will mount on the left.
I've got these risers on order: http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?c...B%20Handlebars
Anyone know the bar diameter, in the brake area, of a riser?

And I've considered Dia Tech Goldfinger: http://www.vitalbmx.com/product/guid...-Tech99-DS,521
I like this approach best, but am unsure of the Nashbar bar diameter. The lever is designed for a BMX 22.2mm bar. Also, I only seem to be able to find a right-side mounted version online. ~$16 each.

or Cane Creek CrossTop: http://www.vitalbmx.com/product/guid...-Tech99-DS,521
Do these work stand-alone, or only inline with other levers? These work with a 24mm clamp, which I assume is the road bike bar diameter. $23/pair

or a mt. bike lever: http://www.performancebike.com/shop/...slisearch=true I've got a set of these - they work well. I've got them on a 3-speed style upright bar. On sale $12/pair.

I was about to start a thread asking the same questions. THANKS~! BUMP^

I also wanna know about these brake levers:

Do they come in pairs and do they fit the nashbar riser.

Crosstop levers will not work properly if you plan on putting them where a brake lever is supposed to go (these days... who knows if that is what you plan on doing). However ANY mountain or BMX lever will work including the ones posted.

I'd get a 26mm brake clamp because it says those bars have a diameter of 25.4mm

what size brake clamp are the nashbar brakes? it doesn't say.

You should get MTB levers for cantilever brakes.

What type of levers for road caliber brakes?

Thx, you saved me from finding out the hard way. And yes, that was what I was considering.

OK, I was being a little lazy asking bar diameter. I bought (measuring) calipers for this purpose. I just went all the way out to my garage and measured my mt. bike's straight bars and my cruiser/upright bars (pic below). It's 22mm in the brake lever area. Both bars increase to 25.4 at the stem clamp.

The Perf. Forte levers (with the link shown above) have an internal adjustment for V-brakes or cantilevers. And they work fine with road bike calipers (better than my campy gran sport levers on another road bike I have). Here's proof:
